This is probably wandering off topic a bit, but your example makes me think it could be nice to have a way of grouping map layers for hiding and showing. Perhaps there could be a MapLayerGroup class that contains an array of layers and can listen for layer events. When any of its layers is shown/

Good question :-) I just have two features sources that I wanted to show/hide at the same time. They represent the vertical and horizontal lines of a grid and I thought it would be easier to put them in the same layer, so I just had to show/hide one layer. They realy represent different data
