Just a small thing.
"crop" implies cutting down, but if the selection is larger than the layer,
it is not cropped, it's expanded or un-cropped. Maybe "fit" would work
better?

If you dont want to be part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
GIMP is not photoshop, and my opinion is that you need to spend more time,
as you did in photosho, with GIMP to get used to this program witch
