Have you tried using the threshold tool
(rightclick->image->colors->threshold)? That will break the photo
down into black and white based on the levels. So long as the object
I want is the focus of the image is usually does pretty well. You
can then use fuzzy select to change the colo
does Gimp have the ability to stitch scans together? Is there any way to
do it manually??

This is the way I understand it.
When you hit the 'setup printer' button in the print dialogue, you will
notice 2 fields. One is selection box where Epson Stylus 640 will be
highlighted, and the other is a printer command line. This says
something like 'lp -s -d lp -o raw', or 'lpr -s
Thought you might enjoy this--very amusing! The illusion is a checkerboard
with a white and black square being the same color because of a shadow.

Hi there,
Is there any way to open Photoshop raw format in Gimp ?
I can't convert it in photoshop to some other format, because the raw
files are being generated by a code of mine.
Any input is appreciated.
