Is Gimp telling you anything on the error console? (Dockable
dialogues/Error Console)? Do you have Ghostscript installed (seems to be
a prerequisite)?

When you go to Gimpusers.com you click useful links.
In the Gimp links you'll find Gimp tutorials list:
gimpology
gimp-tutorials.net
g...@pixel2life.com
gimp wisdomplug
Now when your mouse cursor hovers over gimp-tutorials.net
you see gimp.tutorials.net at the bottom

I realize that the .eps file is white also when I open it with other programs
(it can't be a problem from this file, because I got it from professional).
This is an assumption I wouldn't make. Professionals make mistakes, too.

Hello
I look all over for one old tutorials I use few years ago.
Where can I find tutorial how to animat this Gimp-lightning I made on Gimp.

I recently upgraded to GIMP version 2.6.10 (Mac OS x Snow Leopard). Ever
since I've had a print size issue I can't resolve. I didn't have this problem
with previous GIMP versions.
Despite the saved size, the image prints smaller. I've tried everything I can
think of from playing with

I don't know which tutorial you were looking for but there are plenty
available. I used the words GIMP lightning animate tutorial to do a
search using Google and quite a few hits came back that sound

I am not completely sure but I think Ubuntu studio might have it.
I use Ultimate edition 2.7 which comes with gimp 2.6.8 but was easily
updated to 2.6.10 through my update manager.
Hope this helps

One More Distro!
Linux Mint 9 has GIMP in the Live CD
And happily it's a Ubuntu based so the too-speedy-mouse-fix via the terminal
works in LiveCD too. The GUI is not flexible enough with Blue Track Microsoft
mice, just google for info on these Ubuntu terminal commands
sudo -s
root
(I wish I could edit my posts)
Last post should read
xinput --set-prop (device name or id# here) Device Accel Constant
Deceleration 3
xinput --set-prop (device name or id# here) Device Accel Adaptive
Deceleration 5
