for the letters to be bumped up into the above layer, you can reverse this so that the letters seem to be pressed into the above picture. that might be the look your looking for. if so, in the bumpmap dialog box click the invert option. peace, Ariel Kass

Hi there GIMP users, I'd like to know if there is a way to create or manipulate 3D pictures (not adding layers but actually changing the picture). Some examples would be to change a part of a ball or a parabuloid. Any suggetions?? Ariel
