the developers want.
Google already has full time engineers working on Ubuntu and Libreoffice and
tons of other open source projects.

The point is Google programmers could help put 2.8 stable out faster. Clean up
code, Someone to work full time on the project.

Have the developers given up on 2.8? I understand folks interest changes over
time. I use to help write code in Apple IIe assemble language. I almost had a
heart attack on a Christmas day...

I have a folder of lots of images i want to resize for the web. Is there a
decent batch plug in for gimp 2.6.10. I am using ubuntu. I am newbie. I need
easy to follow install instruction...lol
