The deletion on the original server isn't a real problem because I can set
up the profess
POP3 is a retrieval method. It touches a message once, and that's it. You
can have it delete it then, if the server supports that, or not, but once
you've touched it, you're done and can't touch it again.
IMAP, on the other hand, is good for synchronizing, like you're talking

They have a professional mail account hosted by a different provider for
their work and they both need to read emails sent to this address. So I set
up for both of them POP3 checking with no deletion
