If you can find a drive that can actually record them, I'd like to know
about it! I have 3 CD burners, (2 SCSI and 1 IDE, 1< all < 3 years old)
and none of the drives will burn a business card CD. Although they all
burn normal CDs fine under Linux.

Just use cdrecord. Also use cdparanoia for audio and xcdraost for its gui.
