I note tha
If you get the digest version of the list, that extra header information is stripped out.
I was curious too (about the MUA), but, as you can see, there's no X-headers.

"gnhlug" in the list of lists at mail-archive.com:

...but today I see only 3. Anybody know anything
about that? Is there a definitive GNHLUG archive?
