One of the long-standing gripes we've had is with the attendance we get at
our meetings. This message is an attempt to kick off a thread about this,
and what we can do to help fix it.
- Advance notice. The sooner we can start spreading the work, the sooner

One of the things that was discussed at our org meeting last week was
meeting locations.
It occurs to me that, in objective terms, the best place to hold a
GNHLUG-wide meeting would be Manchester. It is geographically central to
most of our membership (and thus equally unfair to everybody
It was mentioned at last Thursday's "org meeting" that we want to have a
really kick-butt presenter for this summer's "big" meeting ("quarterly").
Maddog pledged to get one. We need to back that up with some action of our
own.
Things that need to be worried about:
- Who the speaker is.
Okay, at our "org meeting" last Thursday, Rob L brought up the "library
project". It sounded like a good idea to me. I have created a Wiki page
for it, here:
