Python library for reading and writing OP files

Is there a Python library for reading and writing PO files? I'm looking for something that will give me something like an object containing (msgids, msgstrs, isFuzzy, isObsolete) for each msgid (with plural support), and will write such strings to a PO file. As far as Google will tell me[1]
