Hi! Philip, I have got the script again (I notice you have added your previous post to the script) and I still cannot get it to work, I am getting a message en_GB.pl: command not found. I am going to re-install perl and see if that helps things. At least this time I am getting an error

Hi Johannes. Thanks for your tip. I have reinstalled Perl and it is now working for me by cd-ing into my Gnome folder and running perl en_GB.pl input.pot output.pot. I think I will leave it like that as I can then run it on any machine from a flash drive. Thanks to everyone who helped. Cheers
