Martin, The locations reports were stored in changed from V2 to V3. There are diagrams of the locations for each version on the wiki https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Configuration_Diagrams_-_Windows you will need to copy any saved reports in the V2.6 and older locations to the locations specified

Made it to 3.11 successfully and all looks good so wish me luck for the next step to 4.13! I notice that I’ve lost the saved report configurations so I guess I’ve just got to rebuild those from scratch once I land in 4.11. If I do it this way, will I need to rebuild again once I’ve moved
