Basically, GnuCash cannot handle inventory.
It may be possible to create a fictitious commodity and assign a value to
it, but You cannot do any of the usual inventory functions such as tracking

If you have been having issues with notes in OFX imports, there were a
couple of bugs in that area that were just fixed for release 3.6. They
should already be in the Windows nightly builds. Try OFX again when you
have the updates.

If they were seen but later lost, or changed because of an error, it is a

containing the word local which causes linux computers to turn off bonjour,

The tax report has a little known option to assign an account to "Copy 2"
