Geert: As a follow-up, I installed via flathub on my production system (Ubuntu 18.04). I installed flatpak using the flathub-recommended PPA, then removed the Ubuntu GnuCash version 2.6.19 package and installed the flatpak. It's not running correctly. Lots of "No such language" errors. I pinged

Thank you. Guess that means there's no reason why using a css file to adjust fonts, color, etc. won't work, even though my preference page is not available to me so I'll pursue that... Regardless, much thanks for making the 3.6 version available on flatpak, everything else in the program works

despite the error it does start up GnuCash, however, the preference page still is totally non-responsive. When you try and change ANY option, it doesn't allow you do so, totally non-responsive. i wasn't really worried about it cause i thought an appropriate css file would be a good enuf

Hi Randix, You probably mean "available on Flathub". I have published an update there to bring gnucash to version 3.6. The errors in your suggest you don't have the proper permissions to install the newer flatpaks from flathub. So you likely have to either run the given command with elevated
