Yes, Adrian, I probably could have just gone in search of the folder
somewhere deep within the WAMP stack's folder tree and copied that over.
Not really sure where MariaDB stores its data, though. And to be honest
here, I'm just being lazy. As a career-long IT guy, I certainly can figure

I thought MariaDB was supposed to be a 'drop-in' replacement for MySQL.
Was it really necessary to use XML in the migration?

theme, check the FAQ on the wiki. There's an entry in the 'Customizing'
section that will lead you to

Just finally reporting back on this change in my environment (new install
on Windows 11 from an older Windows 10 computer running MySQL). Perhaps it
will help others making similar changes to what I've just done.
I'm moving on to a new computer and just didn't want to install the entire
WAMP
