It's the date in Preferences> Accounting Period. If this is different to the date on the Balance Sheet report they may not match. With the same date, Net Assets should equal Total Equity on the Balance Sheet. ___ gnucash-user mailing list

The "Net Assets" value at the bottom of the screen does NOT match the Assets account Present(USD) value. So, when I saw the word "Net", I assumed Assets-Liability. But, as you pointed out, that would be Equity. If I play with Edit:Preferences:Accounting Period I can keep or remove Grand total (at

With arrow/cursor over "down arrow" on right side of bottom line, Press and hold down the left mouse button . While still pressing down the left mouse button, press "down cursor/arrow button" (can also press up arrow button to scroll thru the list of assets). Trying again, it appears one does not
