I have always felt that Mario was of the truly great cartoonists of India.
I used to religiously wait for the weekly Illustrated to arrive at the Dar es
Salaam Institute library in the 1960's and 1970's. At the time, I was hoping
that Mario Miranda was a Goan and not someones pen name.
