Dear All,
It was with a saddened heart that I heard of Fr Catao's demise last weekend. Fr
Catao was my English teacher and principal of our school St Britto's. A
disciplinarian to boot he enforced the law with his "paddle" and 'lunch time
music'.
He did not tolerate fools and called a spade a

Fr Catao was my teacher and Vice- Principal at St Vincent's High School,
Poona. I remember him as a man of very few words but a strict
disciplinarian. During a brief period when he stood in for the Principal who
