I too would have offered Rs.5000pm with free accomoation and meals for a two
bed flat.
Plus, we would help with new or near new children/adults clothing/toys etc.
Free return ticket every two year. wedding/Birthday/Xmas gifts etc. Plus gold

Based in the Gulf does not mean that you are living in luxury.
We're based in the UAE and did a bit of checking on formalities/expenses for
bringing in a maid, recently. Here's what we were told:
