b: Seriously misrepresenting Santosh's take on Nascy (who is free to
deny that he has denigrated India/Indians because of the

Freedom of choice is at issue here and when Endia bid for the games,
they should have made it clear and no beef/meat would be served. The
better approach may have been to market the game's food as a healthy
choice rather than the 'we banned meat' tag. That may have been smart
and acceptable to all.
You are twisting my words here, Santosh. As is clear from the context,
I am specifically referring to the point of whether a supposedly
secular State should lay down bans on any particular food based on the
eating preferences of a section of the population.

I do not blame the organisers or the Govt. of the day; I know it is the RSS and
BJP and other saffron wallahs who are threatening disruption and possible
terror at the Games, if Beef or Cow meat is served; hence the decision.If the
nations withdraw from the Games, then it will not
