Philomena Trinadade and Loretta D'Souza, were selected
as the second goalkeeper for the Moscow Olympics. I
remember Loretta. I covered the camp at Pune.

So thanks to Marshall, Eugene, Reena, Augusto, Mervyn, Carmo, Tony and others
here is a tentative list of women (Goans/or Goan origin) who represented India
at hockey.
1) Philomena Trinidade
2) Margaret Toscano
3) Eliza Mendonca - Nelson
4) Loretta D'Souza - Srinivasan (of Moira)

Eliza Nelson was very much Goan. She lived on Dastur Meher Road in
Poona. She used to be Eliza Mendonca. Her family has been known to mine
since the fifties, when my dad first came to Poona as a student.

only remember seeing the Tanzanian ladies play one international match.
