Password
Have you tried the appcfg option "--passin", which I presume allows
the password to be given at launch-time? (I personally do not use this
and just enter my password once after having started the uploading
process.)

I can only speak for myself, but I find
I had the same idea. Maybe Google can create something inside the admin
console to do this. Seems like a simple straight forward idea. This would
allow people to get started who are novice and don't know how to use Eclipse
or the command line.
