The geocoder has to be used in conjunction with a map so as long as other
uses of geocode results are accompanied by a map it's OK.

not include more data than is shown for free (regardless of however much

That post talks about an app that is free to view. Doesn't seem
anything like your case at all, maybe thats where the confusion comes
