Have you tried to delete Chrome and all its com.google.chrome.*.plist files
in ~/Library/Preferences and then reinstall it along with the GWT plugi
Uninstall the current version of chrome you have and reinstall a recent
version.Hope that will help.

I am also completely unable to run developer mode in Chrome on OSX. I
have the plugin installed, the toolbox in the omnibar is red, it says
"The host at 127.0.0.1 is allowed to use the plugin"... seems like
everything should work, but it just prompts me over and over to

It is a compile time flag.
I accidentally turned it on in one of the build. It should go away if you
update or download the latest one from SVN.

I have tried every method possible for installing GWT for Eclipse 3.7
( using the update site, using the install from archive, installing on
top of a clean Eclipse install, installing on top of FDT 5 ).

Anyone knows what happened to 'j2EE dependencies ' option after
installing the GWT plugin and creating a project in Eclipse? I use
this to force Eclipse to copy 'user library' jars into the WEB-INF/lib
directory. This does not seem to happen anymore, and am doing this

The update sites were off line yesterday for an hour or so. Those were
restored fairly quickly, but you need to restart Eclipse to see that take
effect (Eclipse caches update site status including failures for an entire
session).

The plugin ships with an SDK, but that doesn't mean you must use that SDK
with the plugin:
Right click on your project -> Google -> Web Toolkit Settings -> Configure
SDKs.

I can create a GWT project, and compile/test. However there are no
designer options.
For example the Menu Group with options to create a new Composite etc
are not in my new menu tree.

I've seen a few posts complaining about this error but they seem to
refer to issues using the Maps.jar. Anyway, I've recently updated the
GWT plugin from 2.1 to 2.2 and can now no longer compile a gadget I've
been building using the Gadgets plugin (gwt-gadgets.jar). I
