is still outdated but does a good job of explaining techniques.

I agree with Davis. The GWT is changing very fast especially with GWT
2.0 coming out. You should try to read some GWT blogs and Google IO
stuff. And Google is always a good way if you have some problem. Just
search it.

in order to learn how to use GWT.
But unfortunately it is from a much older version of gwt and a lot of
the code has been depreciated.
