Ok, it worked.
More in details, I checked in packages.debian.org all the files provided
by the package gretl-common. I've found out that gretl.lang isn't
anymore provided by gretl-common 1.9.14 and gretl-common 1.9.9-1 but
only by gretl-common 1.9.1-2. Also, the file gretl.lang, according to

All you have to do is try. And possibly, let us know.
Sorry, so if I took a gretl.lang file somewhere and put it into
/usr/share/gtksourceview-2.0/language-specs/ I'd solve my problem, right?

Yes, the problem is that gretl.lang isn't in the place where it is
supposed to be, I think the core of the problem lies here.

It's a sufficient cause, yes. If gretl.lang is not installed (in the right
place) then the gtksourceview library can't do highlighting for gretl.
We'll try to work
There's no gretl.lang in none of the folder you mentioned. Is this the
problem?

Ah, then it seems there's something wrong with the build on Debian
testing. Can you check if gretl.lang is installed? For highlighting to
work, it should be in
I just typed sudo apt-get install gretl on the terminal

I had this:
ldd /usr/bin/gretl_x11 | grep gtk
libgtksourceview-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtksourceview-2.0.so.0
(0x003f6d00)
libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 =>
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0x003f6d40)

Hi everybody!
I'm running gretl 1.9.14 on debian testing/sid with gnome shell 64 bit.
Everything works fine except the syntax highlighting. I checked on gretl
dependencies and I got a very generic gtksourceview.
Can someone tell me which are the right packages to install in order to
have syntax
