i second this problem. it doesn't clone when you click done/close, but
only when you edit the title.
Maybe because it identifies a tiddler by it's name and it tries to
close the tiddler with the old name.

One thing that's not clear about this, you need to put a check by the
tiddlers that you want to import. I use import all the time and just click
the box in the heading to import all my tiddlers as kind of a one-way
(destructive) sync.

I'm using it. It's fabulous.
I like the idea of including a drop down so that dependencies can be set
without editing the tiddler manually. You'd want a multi-select list box,
if such a thing exists in MonkeyGTD, because some actions depend on more
than one prior action.

I believe it's fixed in the MPTW. There's no good reason I can think of why
this hasn't propagated to MGTD.
If you update SaveCloseTiddlerPlugin from here:
http://mptw.tiddlyspot.com/#SaveCloseTiddlerPlugin
it will fix it
It works okay for me I think. What happens? Do you get an error message? Are
you importing to a locally saved file?

Bad news, any of those probably will give you a broken file. Rule of thumb
for any TiddlyWiki. File, Save as doesn't work. Always use the download link
in Tiddlyspot or right click, save target as... where applicable.

I will throw it in the wiki..

Carsten,
I'm excited about this. Nice work. As for Jim's comments, I think this seems
lightweight enough so you can just ignore it if you don't want to use it.
When I get a chance I will have a play with this and hopefully include it in
MGTD. I have some ideas about the UI also, something similar
If I was doing this I'd probably use a text editor. Open up you file and
search for the name of the realm you're changing. Replace it with the realm
you want. The thing to replace will be inside a tags="..." attribute. So
you'd have to only change the ones you wanted which you could tell by
loo
Yep, I've confirmed this behaviour and I'm calling it a bug. Will fix in a
future release.
Thanks for the bug report.
Best wishes,
Simon.

I like your suggestion. It should be possible to list projectless actions
that have an area in the area dashboard. I will include in a future release.
Best wishes,
Simon.

You should put some quotes around the format string like this:
macro="today 'ddd DD mmm, v.WW'"

It's there to give you quick access to a list of like things. Eg, you can
jump from one project to another. Also so you can see what type of thing
you're looking at. as for making it into a change type action, we do have
buttons for changing between project -> tickler -> action already. so
perhaps
Oh that's hideous. I didn't realise pipe was hard to type for some people.
How about we use semicolon. Or better it should be configurable. Yeah, that
would be good.

Yeah, you'll need to use a local file for importing generally.

At least it's not possible without writing some new javascript.

That's an excellent question. Thanks for pointing it out. I will look into
this version number weirdness. The version number is a coded timestamp but
clearly there are some problems with the algorithm.
You can be assured that whatever is up online is the latest version despite
appearing otherwise.
No. But perhaps these ideas might be useful:
http://monkeygtd.blogspot.com/2007/02/on-checklists.html
And if you know in advance the dates you could add a tickler for each trip
perhaps.

I think this happens only when the tiddler's title has been edited,
but I have no idea why... :)
