This is a good point. I agree that the actions should be hidden in this
scenario.
Another work-around is this: Before you make the project into a tickler,
change it to someday/maybe. This will at least cause the actions to be
hidden from next action lists.

Did you figure this one out? You can make a tickler by clicking +tickler,
choosing a date and a name.
Ticklers only alert you (with the hopefully flashing *tickler* message at
the top) once their date has arrived or passed. So if you create a tickler
it won't usually alert straight away.

Are you still having problems? I have tested just now and was able to
import. Do you have any firefox plugins that might be interfering? Some
versions of FireBug are known to be problematic.
