Sven, To each his own. I have not seen you on the list at all in quite awhile. I do agree we are limited to the breadth of topics GTS related, but when two guys are arguing the value a trip only one intends to take... such as happened recently.. to me, it is useless, and inappropriate.

Not too much interchangable with the FZR 1000. Rear caliper, same rear pads, rear swing arm, counter and rear sprockets, rear rim but w/o abs pickup. Cylinder block, cases and trans, radiator maybe. Crank is different as is the head, and cams. Compressions is lower but I don''t know if its due to

I good friend of mine has a 1985 Yamaha FZ750 that is in MINT condition. If I want it, it's mine.for a price! Does anyone on this list have any comments or experiences with this model? From what I understand it was the first "Genesis" five valve motor produced by Yamaha and it was a thriller.
