wear especially when riding loaded two up if we are doing any long straight
stretches like across Nevada where the speeds are held at around a 100mph
(maybe a little more). I thought this was pretty poor milage for a

Screw the Slipstones and put real rubber on your GTS.

Hi dave ,
BT56's are softer than BT57's
BT010's are softer than BT020's
I've tried 56's & 57's . Heres what i found,
the 57's got a flat spot after about 2000 miles, worn out at
3000. 56's lasted 5000 miles wore quite evenly , not much of a
flat spot . I'am only talking about rear tyres here.
So

Okay, on my BIKE's rear. Now add the "fluff" to your subject line, Mr. SA.

I just put a BT020 on my rear after the Azarro went a measely 3,600 miles. (I
do ride a lot of two-up at speed, but st
BT020's replace the BT54s which are higher mileage tires. BT56s are even
softer than BT57s.

both these tyres are quite sticky , so they may not last to long , about
5000 miles with mixed riding ( giving it a handful
most of the time )

The 120/70 or 120/60 are much better profiles for the GTS1000. Keep the
pressures at 38psi front 40 psi rear and the handling is much better than
the OEM 130/60.
