I only know of two types that have been call "Arrowhead". One is embroidery
in which you embroider a triangle shape at the top of the slit uses either

think is called Arrowhead Reinforcement. It's a
finishing technique where the top of a slit (usually
on shirt tails, I think) is reinforced at the end by a
hand stitched arrowhead style design.
