Hello, I've done a few gowns out of 'regular' (as opposed to moire) taffeta for my eldest daughter, but not silk taffeta. I've discovered that with taffeta if I wash the whole thing in water (not in the washer or the whole thing is a wrinkled mess), it doesn't lose it's crispness or sheen in
