Here's a project I can get into: helping you name your dummy. I'm
partial to the classics such as the Three Graces, Euphrosnia (my
dummy's name), Thalia & Aglaia. My guy dummy is Adonis, for his mythic
youth & beauty.

There is Rachel and Julie, mannequins named before I got them;
There is Bridey, named as she is Princess Brand dressmakers dummy;
There is Bob for Bob May who was in the Lost in Space robot, a tailor's

breasts. Bessie Blunt is a play on Elizabeth "Bessie" Blount, one of King Henry
VIII's mistresses. I've been doing a bit of Henrician stuff recently.

I don't actually have a dummy (maybe someday!), but the first part of
this thread, about what they were wearing, got me thinking about what I
might name one if I did. At the moment I'm partial to Madame.
