Been to www.radioheritage.com recently? Fantastic new series of
features now live looks at radio in 1953 in places like Africa,
Caribbean, Middle East and the Philippines.
189 Iceland, Reykjavik, after several f/ups to the CE, and others, I
finally received a nice QSL letter in 35dff. Orig report sent back
October 7th, 2009! All reports enclosed a CD of the signal too V/S:

A new shortwave radio station with the Name Radio6150 starts - big
surprise- on 6150 kHz. Frequency seem already be aproved by the
Bundesnetzagentur, but additional Mesurements have to be done before using
more power.
6150 khz is testing now with 5 Watts (!) only, but wants

The first ever purpose-built DXpedition base in Finland was constructed
earlier this year, tested by us in October, and found to be excellent. A
spartan cabin in the middle of nowhere is equipped with nine beverage
antennas, each almost a kilometer in length. A bunch of New Zealand AM
stations
