I deleted the ATC MNEMONIC field for a specific drug; ordered it and dispensed the drugs unit from pick list. This time it din't go to ATC but i want to know how will the patient receive the medicine now? (as the order just got lost).

you are completely sure that the field's data will be unique (or you need
to enforce uniqueness) then sure. You just have to understand the
consequences. You wouldn't want uniqueness on fields like person
