When I try to access a webpage with a Java app (like the Secunia
inspector for instance) Firefox closes instantly. Any ideas why?

Alcohol does not integrate spyware like Daemon Tools does, however it does
use the problematic SPTD.sys - ymmv - however the links I provide prove I'm
in not a fluke.

It was specifically the newest version available as of last week that had
the buggy SPTD.sys (v1.39) which has supposedly been fixed in a newer
version that Daemon has yet to integrate. I'll pass.
