I agree with your assessment. HTC has better hardware (physical) and software (sense 5) vs Samsung (Plastic and Touchwiz). Samsung is too cartoony and weird looking for me. Regarding the hardware button, I also agree, hardware button is pretty bad to use and I don't like it. That said, the HTC
