That is a nice little router, I've installed that very model at one of our customer's homes. When you configure the router you're going to assign an X# port to the WAN (generally X0) and you will plug your cable modem there. I've done a bit of work on these devices, if you're 100% stumped on it,

The SFP port would be used with a module that plugs in. Often used for Fiber Transceivers, you'll likely not use the port. Correct, you'll only have 3 other ports once X0 is setup as the WAN port. Once you configure the EdgeMax you'll just swap over the cables. I'd make sure the internal networ
