That is a nice little router, I've installed that very model at one of our
customer's homes. When you configure the router you're going to assign an
X# port to the WAN (generally X0) and you will plug your cable modem
there. I've done a bit of work on these devices, if you're 100% stumped on
it,
Plug into the 1st normal network port. Took a while for me to get the hang
of setting mine up. You'll have down download the software from ubiquiti to
initially configure the unit. You can't connect directly to it until you've
run the wizard

so yeah, I am stumped but here is some questions.

The SFP port would be used with a module that plugs in. Often used for
Fiber Transceivers, you'll likely not use the port.
Correct, you'll only have 3 other ports once X0 is setup as the WAN port.
