The machine serves two functions: 1. HTPC for DVD playback and DVR functions 2. RAID multimedia storage I have 4 HDs in a RAID 5 array and will be adding 2 more soon. I currently have 1 HD that I use to record video to which may become a stripe set of 2 drives soon. And there is 1 boot drive. I
