LOL. this kinds of BS is why I went ATI with my X48 chipset box since SLI
was a no-show for the same false "Technical" reasons.
I have 4 boxes: Nvidia card in one, AMD card in the other and the other
2 boxes are IGP Nvidia and AMD. The thing that irks me is that if you
have an Nvidia card in your system then you are an Nvidia customer. But
you get screwed by Nvidia if you also have an AMD card even though

With Jason's share and a bit of extra reading, I now fully understand
the issue. It really is cheesy. But, in company's battles for
supremacy, and the current economics, I am really surprised more of this
marketing tit-4-tat is not present.
I admire and applaude "GenL's" workaround. Yes,
I've used miss-matched cards in the past on purpose...
I figured Windows would tell them apart easier that way ..

The issue is that WinXP suported video cards from both camps in the same
system, Vista did not and Windows7 does but Nvidia has disabled that
capability with their drivers. What's wrong with having an AMD GPU
driving your main 3D graphics and having an Nvidia GPU to handle the
PhysX? Stupid sho
