I also like Aviva's idea of varying the convention every few years. I do not believe that the cost of CAJE is evidence that having our convention on a college campus is not less expensive. Comparing CAJE to AJL is like comparing apples to oranges. CAJE is a much larger organization than ours.

Baltimore would be a great venue. although at the moment I can't speak about the expense. The Pearlstone may not be big enough. Many suggestions have been made about using a college campus. Univeristy of Maryland, College Park has a Kosher dining facility that may be worth looking into.
