CRL (Center for Research Libraries), note that ha-Arets is a
candidate this year for purchasing; if indeed it would get enough
votes, CRL would purchase 1919 through 1964 in order to complete the
current holdings that go
Dear Hasafranim,
In my one room library, I have back issues of at least 15 different
periodicals (you know, the usual -- Moment, Tikkun, Commentary,
American Jewish Archives, etc), some going back to the 70s 80s.
Absolutely NO ONE requests them!
I've looked on line and many of these are
Has anyone seen the title Where the Streets Had a Name? If so, do
you feel it is appropriate for a Jewish library?

Library of Congress headings have become pretty much the standard in the
Anglo/American library world, so if you are using records from other
institutions the headings will probably be LCSH. One can go into as much
