I have been in contact with the hotel and the person who is
coordinating our Convention. She is attempting to rectify the
situation. I will post to HaSafran as soon as I have heard back from
her.

YES! YES! YES!
A children's version of Encyclopedia Judaica is very much needed. The
Junior Judaica has not been updated and so our younger students and
those with lower level reading skills are left with no good source for
Judaic encyclopedia knowledge.

OUTSTANDING program. It was wonderful.

Dear United Talmud Torahs St. Laurent Library,
I was horrified and saddened to hear about the firebombing of your library.
Please know that you have our very best wishes and support in your rebuilding.
If I can help you in any way, please let me know.

A number of years ago AJL had a committee to produce just such a brochure.
Does anyone remember what happened to it? Outreach is a definite item on my
agenda. We are trying to make a dent, but maybe it is time to make a concerted
effort to reach library students.

Dear librarians,
I received the following email asking for help. Does anyone out there have a
user survey they would be willing to share?
Please send your answers directly to Anne, but cc me if you can. It would be a
great template to have for our mentor program.
Thanks in advance,
Susan Dubin
Congratulations, Anne!
Will your story be available in the US?

Dear Anne,
The best systems cost a little more. Athena and Alexandria are both excellent
and easy to use, BUT the price tag is going to be in $3-5,000 range US.
Surpass seems like a good system, although I have not worked with it in a
library setting.
Good luck! Let me know what you find.

Dear Linda,
After reading the book,I also agree that it is destructive and hateful. Like
you, I am leary of calling for the banning of this book because I do not
accept censorship as an option. However, I feel that we can best alert those
people outside of the Judaic library world by writing
