Erika, There is a new book out: Tree of Souls: The Mythology of Judaism -- by Howard Schwartz, I believe that it has a large section devoted to tales about the Shekhinah. Try looking in it to find out if there are Jewish tales that support the quote you cited. Sherry Wasserman MY EMAIL address
