i recall seeing an ad in either the most recent copy of The Jerusalem
Report statnig that a rogue operation was calling on behalf of the JR
to obtain subscribers and NOT at the behest of The JR, and that those
calls should be ignored and reported to the JR and its authorized agents

I don't think that is the Jerusalem Report calling you but rather a
magazine sales group. I once had a huge problem when I finally
agreed to resubscribe through them, not knowing they were the actual
company, and the money etc was not passed on to the Jerusalem
Report. Try contacting the real
I imagine that (canceling) would be the only way -- if any -- to get
someone's attention. I would be far less polite to anyone making such a
phone call to my home. I guess before canceling you could call someone
at JR and tell them you would cancel and order them (I mean it) to get
these calls stop
