Aaron, Unfortunately, the nekudot not lining up under the foot of the resh (or the daled for that matter, which also emulates Rabbi Hillel and stands on one foot) is a function of how a given font renders the characters. I cannot seem to find a font that does this the way you want it to. With Reg

Have you tried DavkaWriter (see www.davkawriter.com)? You can do nekudot in Word? Whenever I try to just do Hebrew letters, they end up switched around. Davka has a lot of features of Word plus Hebrew. I've used it to mail merge diplomas with Hebrew names as well as English. Rose Myers Edith an

You can (sort of) do them in word (with Hebrew support of course), but it is pretty hit or miss. I gave up on using word for Hebrew documen5ts long ago, and switched to Davka - much easier to use, better handling of nekudot, more predictable printing, better keyboard support etc -James Messa

True, it does support unicode, but it still does a truly poor job of displaying them. They are often misplaced or end up using another "letter space" making it hard to read. My personal opinion is that their implementation of the keyboards is pretty poor too - it's almost impossible to type in any

I should qualify the table below by saying that the ALT key used is the one on the right, not the one on the left. When your computer is set to the Hebrew IME, turn the CAPS-LOCK on and use the following key combinations to produce the following nekudot: Shift = Dagesh Shift
