Is there any guidance on how to romanise vocalised Yiddish when it differs from
standardised pronunciation? My current practice is to romanise it according to
the vocalisation and add the standard romanisation in a 246 field. Is that
correct? And what about words of Hebrew origin?
Thanks
Vanes

How would you Romanise בביזנטיון (in Byzantium)? I would think be-Vizanṭyon

it’s a foreign loan word?
Thanks

British Chief Rabbinate (ID nr2002012516
)
I'm confused as this is the same organisation surely? Can anyone through any
light on this?
Thanks
