Does the cold ischemic interval pertain only to breast specimens that have not
have receptor studies done or does it pertain to all breast specimen, i.e.
needle core biopsies, lumpectomies, mastectomies?

We currently use Ventana's h. pylori antibody on our Benchmark ultra. Over the

different kind of slide (millennia 2.0) is it necessary to revalidate all of

Hello Histonetters,
WE currently run the Benchmark Ultra for our IHC staining. We have been using
SuperFrost Plus slides on the recommendation by Ventana. What are others using
if you aren't using SuperFrost Plus slides.
Our vendor that we get SuperFrost Plus from no longer carries them and
Our current procedure for the Brown and Brenn Gram stain uses 0.5 grams of
picric acid to 400mls of acetoneis there a way to use a 1.3% Picric
Acid solution in place of the powdered Picric Acid?

Hello histonetters, I asked this same question about a week ago and got one
response hoping to get a little more this time:
Chemicals from the manufacturer should be labelled with Pictograms, Signal
word, Hazard and Precautionary statements, Product identifier and supplier
identification. If
Most chemical should be coming from the manufacturers with all the new
requirements, i.e. Pictograms, signal words, hazard and precautionary
statements, product identifiers and supplier identification. What is everyone
doing to get this same information onto secondary bottles?
