Melt down old blocks, have them embed and cut them. Evaluate their time and
technique. You could also do a working interview where a tech shows them around
but has them cut and embed a few current tissues while watching. Thanks Anne

We are looking forward to ordering a new or used processor. We have the Sakura
VIP5 however, I was wondering if there were smaller processors out there. We
only do a max of about 60 skin specimens and the VIP is a bit large for that
quantity. I would say a max of 100 specimens for future growth.
We have 3 new leicas and we constantly have to adjust them. They creep forward
so much that I just automatically know to roll it slightly back after every 4
specimens or so. The new leica designs are just bad and customer service is
even worse. We have to use the plate as we do Mohs specimens an

When doing frozen section staining for Mohs we have DI water and don't need a

I thought it was the opposite after heme. Rinse, bluing, r

I'm working up a price comparison for NovoDiax's rapid 10 minute Mart- 1 stain

I'm not sure if this is an option, but we used to melt down old blocks and make
the HT embed and cut them. This showed us how good and quick they were and if
they actually new what they were doing. Anne

We are starting to keep our melanomas in-house now that we have a better

not cutting even and the fat is getting in the way. So any sugges

This makes it a little easier to hire for and keep people on the harder shifts.

Buy a bottle of what ever enzyme and use a reproducible buffer and
